The Bodhisattva Vows

Sentient beings are numberless:
I vow to liberate them.
Desires are inexhaustible:
I vow to put an end to them.
The dharmas are boundless:
I vow to master them.
The Buddha’s way is unsurpassable:
I vow to become it.
